My Noble Goal is... To foster the building of places where everyone has the opportunity to improve themselves
My work is about... To support the growing of Italian network and to unblock the emotional efficacy inside organizations
Professional accomplishments include... I've been in Six Seconds since 2005 and looking back I'm proud to share my favorite milestones with you:
1. the Six Seconds Emotional Intelligence Assessment started as my thesis. I was also in the developing and validating team of the Vital Signs for Organizational Performance and Brain Profiles assessments. Using these tools, I wrote 8 case studies and white papers, showing the relationship between emotional intelligence and performance
2. In 2013 I found and managed the first group of Preferred Partners in the history of Six Seconds. This step brought a lot of changes and in 2019 I founded a division focused on the corporate sector named EQ Biz, with the collaboration of all the Italian preferred partners. A collaborative network of partners ready to support and transform organizations through emotional intelligence!
One reason I’m personally passionate about emotional intelligence is…. it gives people more clarity about what's really important in their lives and the freedom to remain the same or do something to change their own world. Emotional intelligence, if we want, is the key a human being has to take a transformative and evolutive step forward. We can do it if our actions will be the result of a perfect alignment of what, how, and why. Really hard...and at the same time POSSIBLE.
Pronouns... he/him
Favorite... “Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” -Steve Jobs
I'd love to talk to you about ... past experiences, lessons learned, and future projects and goals. I love to live the present by doing sports and eating and joking with friends!

Karen Stone McCown
Karen began her involvement with emotional intelligence when she founded the Nueva School (Hillsborough, California) in 1967. In planning the school she met with educators, political & business leaders and Nobel Laureates to consider the educational needs of our society. She saw that the central foundation of a school should be not simply giving students knowledge, but giving them the opportunity to develop wisdom. She created the nation’s first emotional intelligence curriculum, Self Science, a program she facilitated for nearly 3 decades. Karen is the Chairman of the Board for Synapse School, started by Six Seconds.

Candace Pert
Dr. Candace Pert was an internationally recognized pharmacologist who has published over 250 scientific articles on peptides and their receptors and the role of these neuropeptides in the immune system. Dr. Candace Pert received her Ph.D. in pharmacology from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, served as Chief of the Section on Brain Biochemistry of the Clinical Neuroscience Branch of the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), held a Research Professorship in the Department of Physiology and Biophysics at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, and then served as the Scientific Director of RAPID Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
In the mid-1980’s, while researching the function of classical immune cell receptors, such as CD4, in brain, Dr. Pert, with her collaborator Dr. Michael Ruff, developed the first of a new class of treatments for HIV/AIDS, the viral entry inhibitor Peptide T. This non-toxic experimental therapeutic blocks the virus from binding to its cellular chemokine receptor CCR5 and infecting the cell. Recent human studies show that Peptide T substantially reduces HIV in the blood and the treatment resistant, persistently infected cellular reservoirs which do not respond to current therapies.
Dr. Pert holds a number of patents for modified peptides in the treatment of psoriasis, Alzheimer’s disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, stroke and head trauma. One of these, peptide T, is currently undergoing research, in the United States, for the treatment of AIDS and neuroAIDS.

For over thirty years, Ayman built foundations for new ways of thinking, working, and feeling to transform human potential. Ayman passed away in March 2022, and we join his wife, family and friends all around the globe in honoring his memory by staying awake, playfully engaging in learning, and connecting with heart.
Ayman's passion and vision sparked new maps to evolve our relationships with ourselves, our emotions, and the workplace. His book, Sacred Commerce: A Blueprint for a New Humanity, which he co-authored with his wife Rowan Gabrielle, puts focus on evolving the business world one person at a time. An international visionary entrepreneur, published musician, and best-selling author, Ayman Sawaf was one of the original creators of the discipline now known as Emotional Literacy and was an early pioneer in Emotional Intelligence.
