City of Dubuque

The City of Dubuque is working to provide an inwardly focused EQ training program for all employees, new supervisors and department heads. They customize training and assessments for teams or departments depending upon their needs, and offer EQ coaching sessions to all employees. They are exploring the use of EQ assessments for the hiring process in several departments, including the police department. Additionally, employees trained as EQ practitioners will be using tools to implement training and programs that are outwardly focused on the public.
